Splash vs Single-Target Defenses in Tower Rush
The primary choice boils down to a fundamental dichotomy: do you need area-of-effect splash damage, or massive single-target elimination?
This comprehensive guide explores the specific use-cases, strengths, and weaknesses of both categories of defensive architecture.
Melting the Behemoths
Single-target defenses, such as the Inferno Tower or the Cannon, are designed specifically to deal with massive, high-hitpoint threats.
A single-target tower will waste its massive damage output slowly killing one skeleton at a time, allowing the main enemy tank to slip by completely unharmed.
- Ensure the tower locks onto the tank.
- Place the building in the center to pull the tank across both lanes.
- You must bait out their stun first.
The Splash Damage Swarm Sweepers
These structures are your absolute best defense against ‘bait’ decks that rely on overwhelming you with endless waves of goblins and skeletons.
The trade-off is that these buildings possess incredibly low single-target Damage Per Second (DPS).
| Tower Type | Optimal Use Case | Hard Counter |
|---|---|---|
| Single-Target (e.g. If you have any inquiries relating to where by and how to use tower rush, you can get in touch with us at the web site. , Inferno Tower) | Golem, Giant, Lava Hound, Mega Knight | Wastes time killing cheap units one by one |
| Swarm Sweeper | Clears dozens of units with a single attack | Heavy tanks, flying units (if ground only) |
Balancing Your Defenses
Ultimately, the building you select must perfectly complement the other seven cards in your deck.
Master the placements of both architectural styles, and you will construct an impenetrable fortress.
