The Power of Tornado in Tower Rush
However, there is one spell that completely breaks the established rules of the game, manipulating the physical positioning of enemy troops rather than just their hitpoints: the Tornado.
In the hands of a novice, it is a confusing, low-damage waste of 3 elixir that often accidentally pulls enemy troops closer to their own tower.
The Ultimate Defensive Mechanic: King Tower Activation
The King only wakes up if one of your smaller Princess towers is completely destroyed, OR if the King takes direct damage from an enemy unit or spell.
The unit will hit the King once, waking him up for the rest of the entire match.
- Mastering the specific Tornado pull tile for every single unit is mandatory.
- You don’t want to help the opponent finish it off.
- Let their lone Baby Dragon cross the bridge, then pull it to the King.
The ‘Nado’ Combo
Beyond the King activation, the Tornado’s secondary function is physically grouping enemy units together into a tight, dense clump.
You drop your Executioner, and the exact second he throws his massive axe, you cast Tornado in the center of their push.
| Micro-Play | Execution |
|---|---|
| The Anti-Death Damage Pull | Tornado a dying Giant Skeleton or Balloon away from your tower at the last second so their massive death bomb explodes harmlessly in the river |
| The Retarget Pull | Tornado an enemy Royal Giant backward so it loses its target on your weak tower and locks onto the healthy defensive building you just placed |
The Highest Skill Cap
A perfect Tornado will completely break the opponent’s will to play.
Spend the hours required to memorize the pull tiles.
