Why You Should Play Friendly Battles in Tower Rush
They treat every single match as a high-stakes duel, resulting in massive ladder anxiety and a fear of experimenting with new strategies.
You can lose fifty times in a row without dropping a single trophy or damaging your account’s progression in any way.
The Safe Zone for Experimentation
The primary use of Friendly Battles is to test brand new, unproven deck concepts before risking them on the competitive ladder.
This means you can test a level 1 Legendary card against a level 14 opponent, and the game will mathematically equalize the stats for the duration of the practice match.
- Learn exactly what health a tower must be at for your Rocket to finish it.
- If you lose to a specific card on the ladder, ask a clanmate to play that card against you repeatedly until you figure out the counter.
- Friendly Battles are great for building clan morale.
Muscle Memory Training
If you try to learn this timing on the live ladder, you will lose a tower every time you fail.
In a Friendly Battle, you can ask your clanmate to send a Bandit down the lane ten times in a row.
| Game Mode | Mental State | What You Care About |
|---|---|---|
| Ranked Ladder | High stress, anxiety, fear of losing progress | Winning at all costs, using only proven, comfortable strategies |
| Friendly Battles | Zero stress, relaxed, experimental, fun | Learning, making mistakes intentionally, pushing the mechanical limits of the game |
Stronger Together
Finally, constantly engaging in Friendly Battles builds massive respect and camaraderie within your guild.
The practice arena is where champions are truly forged.
